1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe finished in arguably the best colour combination of India Ivory over Twilight Turquoise. Complimented with a matching two tone interior. A simply stunning car in every way and perhaps one of the most iconic designs of all things Americana. The car was subject to a full restoration a few years ago and kept in a private collection thereafter, the car still shows better than the day it left the factory. It has its original numbers matching 265cu 4 barrel motor with a two speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The interior is simply stunning and again presents as new. The car has recently been re-commissioned having been in storage for some time with new fluids, regulator and battery. Overall, this is a beautifully restored car in as new condition with hardly any imperfections to mention, starts on the first turn, drives impeccably well, the engine pulls strongly, steering tracks true and straight has no rattles or squeaks and the brakes pull up nice and straight. Probably one of the best originally restored Bel Airs I have had the pleasure of driving..a real head turner and of collector quality. This car was imported to the UK in 2021. The car today would be a lot more to purchase in the US and with the huge increases in shipping charges now represents excellent value at £45,995.
